Due to circumstances beyond our control, the 2009 VAC has changed venue. Conference sessions and lodging have been moved to The Williamsburg Hospitality House in downtown Williamsburg. To reserve a room, call the Hospitality House at 1-800-932-9192, and say you are with the Virginia Aquaculture Conference to receive the special rate of $79.00 per night (plus tax). To receive the lodging rate, you must book your room by November 1.

If you have already registered and booked a room at our previous venue, don't worry. Your reservation will be transferred to the Hospitality House at no additional charge.

Everything else will remain the same. This means that

• Lodging rate is the same ($79.00 per night, plus tax).
• Lodging rate will be honored three days before and three days following the conference.
• Conference dates and times are the same (Nov. 13-14, 2009).
• Conference agenda remains the same.

The Williamsburg Hospitality House is located at 415 Richmond Road in Williamsburg.

From I-64: Take Exit 238 (Camp Peary). From the south or east, go to the stop sign at the end of the ramp and turn left onto Route 143 east. From the north or west, merge right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 143 east. Proceed to the second light and turn right onto 132 South. At the next light, turn right onto Bypass Road (Route 60). Proceed on Bypass Road, go over the overpass and stay in the left lane. At the bottom of the overpass, turn left onto Richmond Road. At the third set of lights, you will see the Walter F. Zable Football Stadium on your right and the Hospitality House on your left. Turn left into the Hospitality House.

Complimentary parking is available to conference guests. If spaces are available, park in the first parking lot, the GREEN Lot. Before walking inside, look around and use the entrance labeled for the “Westminster Ballroom.” Registration and many conference events will take place in that space. If you park in the BLUE or BROWN lots, take the elevator down by selecting “LL” to get to the Westminster room.
